Junior Golf Tuition

Junior Golf

Junior Golf CoachingJunior Golf lessons at Edgbaston Golf Club will be starting in spring 2013. Ran by Director of Golf David Fulcher and PGA Professional Craig Boland, juniors will be given the appropriate tuition in order to help them reach a standard where they can apply for membership of the golf club.

Each session will combine instruction, practice and skills testing whilst maintaining a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The player’s progression through the colour code programme will not be time limited in order to allow them to develop at their own pace.

Junior Golf TuitionEvery junior will start on the same colour code; white. They will then move on to different colours as they improve much like the system used in other sports. Every colour code has a different set of tasks and scores to achieve which will be marked and recorded by the junior themselves. When the junior reaches the final colour; black, they are then ready to progress onto more advanced tuition and play alongside adult golfers.

On payment for the programme each junior will receive a cap, t-shirt and wristband which match the colour code they are working through.

Junior golfers who are not junior members at Edgbaston Golf Club can join as an Academy Member for £45.00 per year which entitles the junior to practice outside junior coaching with a supervising adult at designated times and play in junior competitions held at the golf club for a small fee.

Our main goal is to ensure that each junior enjoys themselves, regardless of their ability or age.

Enquire about Junior Tuition

David is a fantastic golf coach. He has a huge depth of knowledge on all aspects of the game and will convey this as simply or in as much technical detail as you need.

I have been surprised and delighted with the progress I have made under his tuition and look forward to improving further with his help.

I have recommended him to numerous other golfers, all of whom have been full of praise of his teaching. Keep up the good work
